Intro to Aerial Yoga Hammock Workshop

This beginner friendly workshop is for anyone who has never tried Aerial Yoga or been in an Aerial Hammock class. We will explore the hammock in a fun and relaxed group class covering all of the basics to get you comfortable with joining one of our group classes in the future. Learn how to use the hammock to support your body to make yoga shapes feel more supported and help make deeper stretches more accessible. Everyone will have the opportunity to invert/hang upside down, but it is not required. Do only what you feel comfortable doing, and learn modifications that can be applied in any group class in the future.

Intro to Split Silks Workshop

This intro workshop will introduce students to the basics of split silks. The February Workshop may be attended as 1 single session or you may continue to learn throughout the 3 week program. We will begin with a brief warm up on the crash mat while utilizing the silks to aid with some stretching. From there we will get you upside down in the knotted fabric and practice some fun shapes and movements before moving on to climbing (not too high!), foot locks, and the coveted splits pose! We will finish up class with a few minutes of free play to practice any of the skills we covered before cooling down. Jackie encourages you to take pictures and videos of yourself for personal reference in future classes, and of course to brag to your friends! Full length yoga pants are recommended along with water. No experience? No problem! This is a beginner friendly, fun and inclusive workshop.

Our next workshop is 2/13 @ 11:30am 3 Class series available as single session or 3 week package 2/13, 2/20, 2/27
